"Carrera set to do Full Moon Movie"
Webmistress and "retired" porn starlet Asia Carrera is set to appear in a
Full Moon Movie Productions feature entitled "Piranha Women".
Full Moon Movie Productions the video distributor responsible for such horror "classics" as the "Puppetmaster" series and "Killer Toyz", is a video subdivision of Paramount Pictures.
"Piranha Women" is set to shoot in late September.
No details are available on the character Asia will be playing and whether it will be a featured role or a supporting part. Asia has appeared previously in numerous adult videos as well as some mainstream Hollywood releases, most notably a six second cameo in "The Big Lebowski", a Coen brothers feature that came out earlier this year.
"Christi Lake Cameos in KISS Video"
Christi Lake is set to do a cameo appearance in an upcoming video for
legendary rock group KISS.
The group best known for it's trademark make up is set to shoot the video at
a Los Angeles concert venue with Christi as a groupie seated in front row center.
Christi also tells us that her ongoing "Fan Fuxxx" series has been picked up for distribution by VCA Pictures.
Previously, Christi released the title through Ray Pistol's Arrow Productions, to whom she was briefly contracted under an exclusive arrangement.
"Christi Lake Severs Relationship With Arrow"
"Fan Fuxxx" star Christi Lake has left her contract with Arrow Video", producers of the new "Deep Throat" series. The leggy actress cited differences with the company over promotion of herself as a company spokesperson. According to Christi, Arrow" only used her on one boxcover and often neglected to inform the actress of the company's ""Deep Throat"" contests.
Arrow" President Ray Pistol through a company spokesperson has said that the parting is amicable and understands Christi's desire to grow in different directions.
Christi takes with her several series that she has developed and produced including the ongoing "Fan Fuxxx" series.
"Ed Powers Goes On The Air"
"More Dirty Debutantes" frontman and industry figure Ed Powers has taken his particular style and created a weekly radio show in the Los Angeles area.
Playing at 12:30 am, late Saturday night on KLSX 97.1 Real Radio, "The Ed Powers Show" consists of Ed and his guests talking about the adult industry as well as taking calls from insomnia-suffering listeners.
"Reaction to the show has been great so far and when the Howard Stern
television show starts airing in late August, we are expecting the number of
callers to go up.
Since the Stern show will be simulcast on KLSX, commercials will run during
that show letting people know to stay tuned for my show", said Ed.
Ed describes his radio personality as "the Larry King of porn".
